Most Paper 3 answers die in the middle — not because the words are wrong, but because the voice goes flat. Examiners hear it. Your friends hear it. You hear it when you play the recording back and go, "eh, that sounds like a robot."

The fix is not a longer script. It's three moves: mark the stress, ride the pitch up on the point you care about, then land soft. Say it once out loud. Then say more. Then say it better.

The six-minute drill

  1. Minute 1–2: Pick one exam prompt. Write three stress words only — not the full answer.
  2. Minute 3–4: Speak the answer once, whispering. Mark where your voice dipped.
  3. Minute 5–6: Full voice. Lift the pitch on your strongest point. Land soft. Done.
